anvl

Automated Network Validation Library

 This can bind to a certain port and will receive UDP packets. I don’t know UDP well enough to fully validate this tool, but it does appear to be able to receive encoded commands via UDP. The output from the this command is only seen directly on the console.

Undocumented Commands

I was going to try go through all these and post them in one go, but I’m going to separate them all out onto separate pages. This makes it easy to comment against and for me to update each command as I find out more info. I will try keep this section updated as I discover new commands or as I find new uses for old commands.

NetApp jsh – more fun

There’s a little known hidden gem in the NetApp systems, a Java shell! We’re told that this is extremely dangerous and totally unsupported. Something as special as this obviously gets the hair on the back of my neck, and makes me want to see what I can break with it. So this is what happens when I play with the Java shell in the NetApp system!
